Zeiss announces the ZX1, a full frame, fixed lens camera

Looks like Zeiss had the last word at the Photokina tradeshow as the optics company has announced the ZX1, a full frame, fixed lens camera. The camera will feature a newly developed 35mm f/2 Distagon lens and a brand-new, Zeiss-developed 37.4-megapixel sensor. The body will be constructed out of aluminum and it will also feature a 4.3″ multi-touch display, 512GB of onboard storage, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, USB-C, and wait for it…Adobe Lightroom built right into the camera.

The Zeiss ZX1 will be available in early 2019.
