Famed electric car maker, Tesla has a new car model for sale. Now, you may be thinking “Why should I care about yet another expensive car that I’ll never get the change to own?”, well listen up because Tesla’s new Model 3 will cost you only $ 35,000 (after a federal tax credit).
Billed as Tesla’s first ‘common man’ car, the Model 3 will be able to achieve a driving range of at least 200 miles on a single charge. So how does that compare with Tesla’s current offerings? Well, the Model S is able to achieve 253 miles while the Roadster can last up to 245 miles. Considering just how cheap the new Model 3 is in comparison with both of those electric vehicles, 200+ miles is quite an impressive range, not to mention that supercharger stations are popping up at breakneck speed. Range anxiety might be a thing of the past after all. Look for the Model 3 to release sometime in 2016.
