The 992 gets an all-wheel-drive update.
The new Porsche 911 isn’t exactly lacking in grip but if you want to whip one around in wetter climates then you probably should look into Carrera 4. Porsche has just announced the latest version of their all-wheel-drive model that delivers enhanced traction on snow and wet conditions. Available in a coupe or cabriolet, the Carrera 4 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L flat-six that produces 379 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. This will get you from 0-60 in 4.0 seconds, which is lowered to 3.8 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package. That cabriolet does it in 4.2 and 4.0 seconds flat with optional Sport Chrono Package. The Carrera 4 will top out at 180 mph while the cabriolet is just a hair slower at 179 mph.
Both models will hit dealerships in early 2020.
