The Bird Photo Booth is the world’s first bird feeder and camera all-in-one that is designed to work with your iPhone, iPod touch and GoPro. The worst part about bird watching is having to sit around and wait for birds to cross your line or vision (or do something interesting). Now, you can set up the Bird Photo Booth and check in on who’s coming over for a snack via your mobile device or computer. Users are able to remotely watch, photograph and take video of birds in real time that are eating at the Bird Photo Booth feeder. As of now, the Bird Photo Booth is on Kickstarter trying to raise enough funds to put this baby into production. Sadly, the Kickstarter post is not close to achieving it’s goal of $ 35,000, which is sad, because we think this invention is a great idea and offers a great way to bird-watch and take candid shots with the Bird Photo Booth’s high quality macro lens. The Bird Photo Booth was inspired by the beauty of the original Polaroid Land camera from the 1950′s and is likely the reason why the inventors need such a high budget (the high-quality woods and integrated technology should cost a pretty penny – approximately $ 150 plus the cost of your smart phone and bird seed). But the Bird Photo Booth points out that the price of buying a high quality Canon camera, lens, tripod, card reading and photoshop editor far outweigh the cost of the Bird Photo Booth.
