Long rumored, Chevrolet’s Bolt is an all-electric high-roof hatchback sedan which can go more than 200 miles on a single charge and is priced at only $ 30,000. What’s more, Bolt will support DC fast charging so it won’t take a totally unreasonable amount of time to completely charge the battery.
The centerpiece of the Bolt’s interior is a 10-inch touchscreen which allows drivers to use their smartphone as a key, self-park, and manage ride-sharing. There’s no news from GM regarding street availability but given that GM has made the Bolt the center of their efforts at the Detroit Auto Show, it’s unlikely that it won’t make it to market. While it’s just a concept car for the time being, you can probably expect it at a dealer near you sometime in 2016.
